kk, I got a new rpg idea to help get us all up and movin again.(that is you guys like it and are interested).
most of our rpg's are set in different worlds and have to do with you're average magic power source of ultimate doom (for, lack of a better term. but I think you guys got it). this one is set in our world only waaaaaaaaaayyyyy in the future. so far that we've met other people from different planets! (yay us).
unfortunately, with meeting new people come intergalactic warfare. and that's where our story begins.
earth got itself wound up in a war between planets. us and our allies against some barbaric society bent on ruling the galaxy (go figure) as for names, I can't really think of any right now. but that where you guys come in! we need a name of our allied planet(s) and our barbarian guys and their buddies(be it willingly of conquered planets)
here's the fun part!: not only do we have our giant battle ships, but most of the fighting is done in mechas! that's right! good guys and bad guys drivn' giant robots! or little robots! or even average sized robots! and the design is up to you! they could be like cars or even like Transformers! whatever floats your boat....er...spaceship...
so the general concept is a Stargate-Startreck-Star Wars-mecha cross breed (funny a lot of those good ol' sci-fi shows have 'Star' in the name). so, if you guy are interested post a bio and we can go from there.
note: we are talkin' way into the future so cyborgs etc. are more that welcome. so are fancy high-tech stuff.

here's my first guy:
name: Kalin
age: 18 (equivalent to 54 in earth years)
race: Elvarian (if you want a character of this race, times their Elvarian age by three to get their earth age)
characteristics of race: look like humans except a few differences. they have pointy ears, generally pale skin with tints of colors like blue, green, purple etc. slitted eyes like snakes. they can't breath oxygen (which we'll guess most of our life forms breath) they can only breath a gas that on most planets is used to kill criminals/prisoners/ the random innocent soul who just wasn't lucky. the way their atoms are arranged makes it so they don't show up on most radar/detection systems. (handy no?) they live much longer than humans and have a considerable amount of strength/ a strong military. despite this they are very peaceful and haven't bee in a war for many years.
appearance: pale blue-grey skin, bright yellow eyes, blueish-black hair thats partially slicked back, a mask (think Kakashi only not covering his eyes at all) that's built into his face that filters air so it is breathable for him. (part of it runs down the back of his neck)
bio: when Earth had learned how to convert air on foreign planets so it was breathable for humans, they found the Planet of Elvaris and thought it was uninhabited. so they started converting its deadly air into oxygen so it could be used as a second home. little did they realize that it was in fact inhabited and that they were killing the current residents, the Elvarians who didn't show up on their detection systems due to their peculiar molecular arrangements.
as the planet was slowly dying off, Kalin's father, the current ruler of the planet, asked one of the planets best scientists to create a mask for Kalin so he may survive(he was only five in Elvarian years). more than one of these masks were made (for anyone who wants to have a character of this race) even so, most of the planet was wiped out. it wasn't until they were finished and moving in that the people of Earth had realized what they had done.
Kalin now hates all earthlings for what they did to his people. he flies from world to world in his personal mecha doing nothing, not even trying to look for any survivors, haven given up all hope of restoring their planet. he still wears the head piece that shows that he is Elvarian royalty as a memory to his father, who he watched suffocate along with many of his close friends.
mecha:
name: Nightray
appearance: black and dark blue. slim classic mecha appearance in battle mode, can also morph into a jet-spaceship thingy. is only built for up to 2 people and even then it's crowded. has you're basic laser canon/ gun weapon artillery

name: heero yuy
age: 19
race: human cyborge
appearance: black tangtop with dark blue shorts, red eyes, spicked up brown hair.
boi: when heero was yung he had test proformed on him when he turned 13 he was the almost prefict warrior but that wasen't good enough for the earth forces they wanted the perfect warrior so they built a robot body and saved his memorys on it then they prograned him to take any mission they give him. but he know is free of his orders and hates the earth for making him this way. he is some what friends with kalin but they don't see much off each other. he has two mechas.
mecha:
name: wing zero
appearance: white with blue on the side of the torsow. a mecha with the wings of a angle that morphs in to a jet thingy. built for one but can fit two if needed. it has a laser cannon that splits in to two seprt ones, and two beam sabers, and a shield with guns on the end.
name: epyon
appearance: marune with black stripes on the legs. a mecha that has wings when in battle mode, he transphorms in to a dragon looking thing. can fit up to three but mainly used for two. this mecha is very strange because it only has close combat capobiltys, its wepons are a wip, a beam saber and a sheld with two spicks on the end of it.

Race: Hiishen
Race characteristics: Very similar to humans. Their main difference in physical features, is their ears being pointed, and their living habits. However they also have another difference of being able to go without oxygen for quite some time, up to a month, as well as having stronger minds then humans. They are able to penetrate human minds as well as connect with their minds for telepathy. They can do this to other species as well, but only if they are willing
Appearance: Long bleach blond hair with scarlet stripes,and almost clear-gray eyes with fire red specks, both of which are natural. Extremely pale white skin, albino pale. Beige robes that are tight around her waist and flow out that go to mid calf. Her ears are slightly pointed, and she has a diamond literally embedded in her left palm and a ruby in her right one.
Personality: Shows no sign of panic, and no sign of emotion what so ever.
Bio: A young girl from the Hiishen race, which worships gods similar to the four guardians of the gates, she was thought to be the product of the gods, of wind and fire at least. When this was decided so was her treatment by her people. She was both worshiped and feared. Her body was also used as a sacrificial statement. As time went on she grew tired of this, and so, greatly different from the begining of her life, she left, a difficult task for one handicaped as she is.
Mecha: Starwing
A small silver mecha built for one. It has sensors on it that connect to a pannel in the ship. The panel connects to her mind sending information to her through that, the ship is also steered through mindpower as well. NO battle functions at all
I couldn't find anywhere to add this little important fact, cause I didn't know if it goes in the bio part. She's deaf, blind and mute. Her people ordered her to give up those senses to the gods. Her other senses have increased to the point where she can feel vibrations in the ground and smell things such as sweat. The crystals in her hand also let her sense body heat from the ruby. The diamond allows her to translate vibrations from voices into her body into ideas. She communicates through the abilities of her mind.

age: was built 13 years ago
appearance: small, almost bug-like appearance. I'll try to draw him.
bio: is Kalin's robot. 'he' fixes any problems on Nightray and deals with technical stuff like excepting incoming transmissions, researching things etc. he is always with Kalin unless told otherwise. Kalin has also taught him to use a microwave (the only thing the Earthlings did right) and many other less-robotic things like that. he's become like a pet and friend to Kalin

name: Alice age: 20 race: human appearance: long red hair, brown eyes, will post pic. bio: . She came to Elvaris with her dad a few years ago. she does know what earth looks like. Her father is in the military so she doesn't see much of him and her mother is back on earth. she loves helping people who have been affected by the war. she likes to avoid fighting but does have some military training from her father. she's pretty good with a gun and also fights with a nightstick-like weapon. she has some military authority. mecha: Star Raider fc05.deviantart.com/fs14/f/2007/113/5/a/unnamed_mecha_by_3dsquid.jpg (I can't draw mecha yet...so I searched Deviantart ^^) two-three person seating but more can fit. in battle mode it hooks up to one of the drivers and moves like they do. the person controling it in battle mode goes into a zero-gravity chamber to stimulate moving in space. Name: Tony age: 25 race: human appearance: big, muscular, always looks angry or emotionless. short black hair, goatee, some tatoos and peircings bio: was once a member of a society of mercenary-like people. These people basically go to different planets, kidnapping small children and training them to be war machines, then selling them to differant people (ex. armies, gangs, people who want body gaurds etc.) like weapons. he was one of the strongest of these 'weapons', but was seen as somewhat weak because he would hesitate to kill. One time the group was on Elvaris, trying to sell some of the 'weapons' to human generals who were uninterested because it was immoral. Alice saw him and realized that he was differen than the others. She managed to talk her father into buying him from his captors. Alice is now trying to teach him how to be good, which although he doesn't like killing, is very difficult for him, having being raised to fight. He is called Tony because he can't properly say twenty, which was his number, instead he would say 'tony', so Alice called him that, thinking his inabbility to pronounce such a simple word was cute. (the 'weapons' were numbered instead of named. they also were rarely taught to talk because talking won't help them fight). He can fight with both guns and hand to hand combat. He doesn't speak much, partialy because he is shy, and partially because he doesn't really know how. he sees Alice as him new 'master' even though she insists he is free now. mecha: same as Alice. he controls it in battle mode |

Name: Alysia Val Giren Age: 10 Appearance: A small blonde girl in a dress. Wears piloting goggles on her head. Personality: Sweet and kind with a strong sense of justice. Very smart for her age. Bio: The daughter of Augustus Val Giren, one of Earth's greatest mecha designers, Alysia has a good life living with her family until one fateful say when she came home to find her home on fire and her father missing. She ran into the house in order to save her mother but goit trapped. If it wasn't for the instictive activation of her father's newest Mecha Godimus she would have died there. She saved her mother but it was too late. Alysia learned her father was kidnapped by Earth's enemy for his knowledge of mech design. After her mother's funeral Alysia left Earth using her Father's fortune with Godimus to find her Dad and bring him back home. Mecha: Name: Godimus Appearance: www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Zone/4888/Xchar/zenchen.jpg Godimus seems to posess at least a crude AI. It also has a link of sorts to Alysia and knows when she is endangered. It can fire it's fists, has an optical laser and a partivle beam weapon in it's chest. Race Description: (A species I got from a book) When they're not 'hidden' they are greusome. Completely disgusting.Mottled ,nearly transparent flesh. Bulging eyes, a face with no real mouth or nose, just slits in the face. They are killers, designed as earthlings predators. Because of the design of their bodies, they watch people, memorize how they live, and then kill them, taking over the skin and hiding the body. The skin however can only last for a few weeks before it gets painful to be in. Then, they switch again. Loners, they don't care about each other what-so-ever, the only meet to mate, then they separate. can eat anything from dogs and bugs to normal food. Stronger than humans.
Appearance:Varies by week, prefers dark-haired males
Personality: Secretive, caring, doesn't like what he's forced to do to survive..
Bio: A doppleganger who has been trying to find a way to survive without killing. Despite the fact he hates what he must do, he's grown numb to it, to the point where he has a part of his mind set only on killing. He doesn't like being near humans for long, fearing when his current skin gets to hard to hold on to, he'll kill them.
Mecha: Archangel
A mecha designed like a human, with wings of course. It is in shades of black and grey. It fits two people. it fights with solar lasers, from a panel on its chest and is extremely agile.

yay^^ I thought of a good evil guy race! Name: Naishin age: 27 (135 in human years. again if you want a person of this race you multiply the human age by 5) race: Svariis characteristics of race: they are one of the major enemies of Earth in the war. they have been known for centuries to be downright freaky. in their natual form, they appear to be black mist-like beings that have a vauge humanoid shape. in this form they aren't solid, you can walk right through them like walking trough well...mist. they can solidify into the form of most races. normaly when they do this, they tend to have features that are incredibely dark. in this form they can be hit, but they can also dodge by turing parts of their form back into mist. appearance: he normaly takes the form of a slim human male with incredibly pale skin and jet black hair/ eyes wearing a pinstripe suit and a fedora (think Italian mobster) he has a white corsage and white gloves as well. bio: he is the right-hand man of the Svariis king. he is known to be one you don't want to be on the bad side of.
